Inner peace has been my dream my entire life. Looking for a way to bring a well-balanced life to me and those around me. What I noticed was people seem to get un-balanced becoming lost and depressed.
You may have seen it in someone close to you? You've seen it...
Working all day and all night.
That hobby that took over your entire life.
The family that passes in the night saying "I think I know you?"
Watching TV for hours on end
What have you seen? The problem is most of those examples either begin by a dream, or maybe hiding from the truth. What ever it may be, it stops us from having that inner peace that we so much desire and deserve.
So What's The Answer?
I believe inner peace can be found simply by changing the way we do things. I myself have found an inner peace through some simple daily routines that seem to easily balance my life.
BUT... What is Inner Peace?
According to Wikipedia Inner peace (or peace of mind) refers to a state of being mentally or spiritually at peace, with enough knowledge and understanding to keep oneself strong in the face of discord or stress. Being "at peace" is considered by many to be healthy (homeostasis) and the opposite of being stressed or anxious. Peace of mind is generally associated with bliss and happiness.
Peace of mind, serenity, and calmness are descriptions of a disposition free from the effects of stress. In some cultures, inner peace is considered a state of consciousness or enlightenment that may be cultivated by various forms of training, such as prayer, meditation, T'ai Chi Ch'uan or yoga, for example.
But one of the things I feel is missing is your entire life. That means work, which takes up at the least a third of your life. Yet when we think of work, do you say I want inner peace, or do you go after what can I accomplish.
This is why I am writing...
The Daily Seven Steps To "INNER PEACE"
Step One: Openness - Take the time to look at your life, at your dreams, your fears, and your definition of success. This is the time to be open to what would give you peace. Find people in your life that have the life you are looking for. What are they doing to accomplish that? How much of what they are doing do you want to bring into your life.
Step Two: Let Go! - Are you willing? After looking at what you really want in life that would bring you peace, what part of your life do you have to let go of to make it happen. If you know about the Universal Laws which will assist in bringing Peace You will find that you have to remove something from your life to make room for something else to take its place.
Step Three: Alone Time - With our days so scheduled it is important that you do take the time by yourself so that you slow down and feel the feelings of the peace within. This is the beginning of moving towards your dream, as so many times we don't stop long enough to even know what peace, and calmness feel like. This is where you spend the time doing just that.
Step Four: Forgiveness - This is where you let go of the anger, resentment, and fear all that are holding you back. This could be internal or external it doesn't really matter, what matters is you forgive. Forgiving is a blessing that releases any holds on you so that you can bring in a peace.
Step Five: Respect and Give - When you learn to respect you begin to find different ways to reach out to others, enough to give. Giving could simply be a "Thank You!" or being of service to another. This opens you up to understand giving is the ultimate step to success allowing more to come back to you.
Step Six: Celebration - Celebration being the highest energy in our world, brings you to a higher level in thoughts. This changes the way you see the world and everything around you. No longer do you see the negative things going on, your mind is now focusing on the successes, and giving thanks that they are now appearing in your life.
Step Seven: Movement / Action - Now that you have a desired direction to move into it becomes easier to move into it. Taking the small steps daily that bring you a warm heart and an adventure you'll never forget.
